This is Hoda. This time I want to break down the pricing for PageFly, Shopify’s page builder. I’ve used PageFly on a handful of my own projects, so I’ll fold in what I noticed along the way.
First: How PageFly’s Pricing Actually Works
The first thing to understand about PageFly’s pricing is the philosophy behind it: you pay based on how many pages you publish (published slots), not based on which features you can access.
Every plan — including Free — gets full access to every feature and template, plus 24/7 live chat support. In other words, this isn’t “pay more, unlock more features.” It’s “pay for more publishing headroom.”
That’s a real contrast to competitors like GemPages, which lock certain features behind higher-priced tiers. PageFly’s model means you can test-drive everything on a tight budget.
So don’t think of it as “I want this feature, so I need the higher plan.” Think of it as “I want to publish this many pages, so this is the plan I need.”
Pricing Plans at a Glance (2026)

PageFly currently offers five core plans:
| Plan | Monthly Price | Published Slots | AI Credits | Key Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 slot | 10/month | Nearly the full feature set, 320+ templates |
| Builder | From $24 | 5 slots (up to 15 at $34) | 80/month (up to 120) | Global styling, unlimited media & fonts |
| Optimize | From $39 | 20 slots (up to 75 at $94) | 140/month (up to 360) | A/B testing, sales funnel, AI translation |
| Accelerate | $99 | Unlimited | 400/month | Heatmaps, section-level performance |
| Power | $199 | Unlimited | 800/month | AI SmartSeller (coming soon), early access to new CRO modules |
One slot = one published page or section. Builder and Optimize are slider plans — price, slot count, and credits move together in $5 steps within each tier.
▼ Just so you know: you can create as many unpublished pages as you like without it counting toward your slot limit — great for testing layouts or trying out features. My own test site has 3 drafted pages but 0 published, so it’s sitting at 0 slots used.

Each Plan in Detail
Free
Monthly price: $0 / Published slots: 1
PageFly’s free plan isn’t just a stripped-down trial. Aside from a few top-tier features like A/B testing and heatmaps, you get the full drag-and-drop editor, 320+ templates, dashboard analytics, 200+ app integrations, and 24/7 support — all included.
You can only publish one page, but if your strategy is to put all your effort into that one page, it’s genuinely usable in production. A common approach: build just your best-converting product page or landing page in PageFly, and leave everything else on your default Shopify theme.
Good fit for:
- Anyone trying PageFly for the first time
- Simple, single-product stores
- Anyone who wants to get a feel for the editor before paying
Builder ($24/month)
Published slots: 5 / AI credits: 80/month
The first paid tier, and usually the natural first upgrade for smaller stores. Five slots is enough for a homepage, two or three key product pages, and a landing page.
The main additions over Free:
- Global styling — manage fonts, colors, and button styles across your whole store from one place
- Option swatches — show color and size choices visually
- Unlimited media and font uploads — add custom fonts (including Japanese fonts) and images without limits
- Extra AI credit purchases — buy more AI page-generation credits as needed
One thing worth knowing: within Builder, you can also dial in the exact number of slots you need. If you specifically need 6 pages but Optimize feels like overkill, you can bump up to $29/month for 10 slots instead.

Good fit for:
- Small-to-mid-size stores publishing multiple pages
- Anyone who wants a consistent brand look across pages
- Anyone who needs custom fonts, including Japanese typefaces
Optimize ($39–$94/month, slider)
Published slots: 20–75 / AI credits: 140–360/month
This is where conversion-rate-optimization (CRO) features kick in.
- A/B testing — compare page layouts, headlines, and CTAs without an external tool
- Sales funnel — build a consistent flow from pre-purchase to post-purchase
- AI page checkup — AI automatically suggests improvements to your pages
- AI translation — auto-translate page content into multiple languages
A/B testing in particular usually costs real money if you bolt on a separate CRO tool (Google Optimize, VWO, etc.) — often a few hundred dollars a month. Getting it built into PageFly makes this a strong value pick for stores actively running ads or working on conversion rate.
Like Builder, Optimize scales by exactly how many slots you need:
- $39/month: 20 pages or sections
- $44/month: 25 pages or sections (+$5)
- $49/month: 30 pages or sections (+$10)
- $54/month: 35 pages or sections (+$15)
- $59/month: 40 pages or sections (+$20)
- $64/month: 45 pages or sections (+$25)
- $69/month: 50 pages or sections (+$30)
- $74/month: 55 pages or sections (+$35)
- $79/month: 60 pages or sections (+$40)
- $84/month: 65 pages or sections (+$45)
- $89/month: 70 pages or sections (+$50)
- $94/month: 75 pages or sections (+$55)
Honestly, if you’re paying $94/month for 75 pages, you’re better off functionally just moving to Accelerate — it’s a better deal at that point.
Good fit for:
- Anyone who wants to keep iterating on ad-driven landing pages
- Anyone who wants to optimize with real A/B test data, not guesswork
- Stores running in multiple languages
Accelerate ($99/month)
Published slots: Unlimited / AI credits: 400/month
The slot cap disappears here, and this becomes a full CRO suite.
- Heatmap preview — see where visitors are clicking and scrolling
- Section performance analysis — measure how each section on a page individually contributes
- User behavioral triggers (coming soon) — dynamic content based on visitor behavior
Good for larger stores that want to publish freely without counting pages, or teams that want to keep iterating on UX using heatmap data.
Good fit for:
- Stores running a lot of products, collections, and campaign pages
- Anyone who wants to dig into visitor behavior with heatmaps
- Agencies or operators managing multiple stores
Power ($199/month)
Published slots: Unlimited / AI credits: 800/month
The top of PageFly’s core lineup gets you AI SmartSeller (AI that runs CRO automatically — rolling out soon) and early access to new CRO modules before they’re widely released.
This is built for stores that want to lean hard into AI-driven, automated CRO, or power users who want first access to new features.
Realistically, unless you’re running a genuinely large e-commerce operation, most stores won’t need to go this far.
New: PageFly Enterprise (PFE) — For Shopify Plus & Multi-Store Brands
PageFly Enterprise (PFE) pairs you with a dedicated team rather than just more credits, and comes in three tiers:
| Plan | Monthly Price | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Scale | $299 | 1,600 AI credits/month for 1 store, priority “Tech Lead” support queue, monthly 45-minute async review from PageFly’s co-founder, daily store health monitoring |
| Dominate | $499 | 1,600 AI credits/month per store (up to 3 stores, separate pools), everything in Scale, 2x monthly founder reviews |
| Empire | $999 | Custom AI credit allowances, custom multi-store volume pricing, a monthly live call with PageFly’s co-founder, white-glove onboarding |
This tier is explicitly aimed at Shopify Plus merchants and multi-store operators who want dedicated support rather than just more publishing capacity — if that’s not you, Power ($199) is still the practical ceiling for most stores.
Blog Post Page Add-On
| Plan | Blog page handling |
|---|---|
| Free / Builder / Optimize | Unlimited blog publishing available as a $49/year add-on |
| Accelerate / Power | Included free |
If content marketing or blog-driven SEO is part of your strategy, don’t forget to factor this add-on in.
Saved Sections Also Count as a Published Slot
PageFly has a “Sections” feature that lets you save frequently-used sections for reuse.
It’s genuinely useful, but worth knowing: publishing a saved section also uses up one published slot, same as a page (I confirmed this directly with support).

Their reply, verbatim:
“If you publish 1 section it’s same slot for publishing a page. 1 publish save section = 1 slot”
So it’s worth being careful not to over-publish sections without thinking about your slot budget.
About AI Credits
If you just need more AI credits without upgrading your whole plan, you can buy extra as a top-up.

If you go over your plan’s monthly AI usage, you can purchase additional credits. Purchased credits don’t expire — your monthly plan credits get used first, and top-up credits only kick in once those run out.
- 80 credits: $5 (starter pack)
- 220 credits: $12 (~13% savings)
- 500 credits: $25 (~20% savings)
- 1,000 credits: $49 (~22% savings)
Purchased credits are non-refundable.
Per-credit cost drops the more you buy at once.
Which Plan Should You Pick?
By situation
- Just want to try it out, or only need one page → Free ($0)
- Publishing multiple pages, want a consistent brand look → Builder ($24/month)
- Want to keep improving conversion rate with A/B testing → Optimize (from $39/month)
- Publishing a lot of pages and want heatmaps too → Accelerate ($99/month)
- Want AI handling CRO and first access to new features → Power ($199/month)
- Running Shopify Plus or multiple stores and want dedicated support → PageFly Enterprise (from $299/month)
Rough budget guide
If you’re regularly building and updating something like 5–10 pages a month, Builder ($24/month) is a strong, cost-effective entry point.
If you’re actively running paid ads and want to keep cycling landing page improvements, Optimize (from $39/month) tends to pay for itself quickly.
PageFly vs. GemPages on Price
For reference, here’s how PageFly’s pricing stacks up against GemPages, the competitor it gets compared to most.
| PageFly | GemPages | |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | $0 (1 slot, nearly full features) | $0 (1 page, basic features) |
| Entry paid plan | $24/month (5 slots) | $29/month (unlimited pages) |
| A/B testing unlocked | From $39/month (Optimize) | Reportedly at $59/month (Optimize) — see note below |
| Unlimited pages | From $99/month (Accelerate) | From $29/month (Build plan) |
| Highest core plan | $199/month (Power) | $199/month (Enterprise) |
Where PageFly wins: Even the free plan gets nearly every feature. Page-level analytics is available on every plan.
Where GemPages wins: Unlimited pages from as low as $29/month. Its Build plan trades that for gating A/B testing and heatmaps behind higher tiers, and it leans into post-purchase upsell and sales-funnel features.

How to Get Started for Free
- Install PageFly from the Shopify App Store
- The free plan applies automatically the moment you install — no credit card required
- Build one real page to get a feel for the editor, template quality, and support speed
- Upgrade to Builder or above once you actually need it
The best way to evaluate PageFly is simple: build one page on the free plan, no credit card required, and see how it feels.
Hands-on experience will tell you far more about which plan is right for you than any spec sheet comparison.
Wrapping Up
PageFly’s pricing model is a sensible one: instead of charging for features, it scales with how many pages you publish. Getting full feature access even on the free plan is a genuinely generous setup — one that stands out in the Shopify page builder category.
As of 2026, PageFly has renamed and restructured its plans and leaned further into AI, and Optimize and above now come with a real, practical CRO toolkit — A/B testing, AI translation, and more. Being able to scale up gradually as your store grows is also reassuring for anyone thinking about this as a long-term tool.
